A shortage of water comes from Monday in Hungary

Minister for the Interior, Sintor Pintri, introduced the start of a water shortage on Monday – the Hunga Gazette tells.

In accordance with the Water Management Act – including the new water balance data used for agricultural agriculture and Hydrometeorological predictions – Sándor Pintér started the period of water shortages throughout the t country on 1 April 2019.

In addition, the government will extend this year's agricultural water use season even in terms of irrigation – it read in ministerial order.

The drought situation runs from 1 March 2019 to 31 October, replacing the previous time from 15 April to 30 September, depending on climate change and farmers' needs.
