Former president Jacob Zuma has offered support to ANC Ace Magashule's senior director, advising him to be “determined in those times”.
Zuma was responding to a tweet issued by Magashule in order to be happy for his birthday.
The previous president celebrated his 77th birthday on Friday.
Magashule was a hot topic this week after the book appeared Gangster State: The solution is the Capture Ace Magashule web, by journalist and author Pieter-Louis Myburgh.
He notes that Magashule was at the head of the State with an iron fist.
After the book was published, the ANCYL Youth League in the Free State announced that it would make copies of it. But the league away their plans after the ANC leaders in Lship House went in.
Campaigners, some in ANC T-shirts, were badly affected by the book's publication at Exclusive Books in Sandton on Tuesday.
The protesters sang and danced all over the floor at Sandton City, where Exclusive Books has a book store, after they have sent books into their books. Some were known as "Ace, Ace, Ace…".
Magashule became humiliated as leader in the Free State.
