Both planets and comets are very different. Planets are very well enough for self-sufficiency to be strong enough to be drawn to the accurate bale format. The faults have little eating in comparison; they are small irregular chips of rock and ice, but their "long" company is not exposed to gas and only when they are; climb near the sun. Tables usually do not have planets like making comics … but now one is unique to find one to doSub-Scientists at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands (IAC) in the Canary Islands have shown that the WASP-69b solid tail is made up of helium fragments. The new findings were published on 6 December 2018 in the authoritative magazine with peers ScienceSouth Westerly

The helium fragments in WASP-69b tail to escape the planet's atmosphere due to the importance of ultra-biolet radiation from this star's star. The tail will run behind her; planet as it stops its star. WASP-69b is a big gas planet 163 light-years from our sun. It is Jupiter's size, but with Saturn's size.

How did the scientists find this? When they saw their planets in front of their star, they noticed something interesting. As defined by Lisa Nortmann of IAC, the principal author of his new paper:

We have looked at a stronger and even further reduction in the starlight in a section of the spectrum in which helium gas accelerates light. When this time goes longer to & # 39; allow us to include the appearance of tail.

This is the first time we can look at helium's tail. Previously, helium was thought to be in his / her; case [outermost atmospheric layer of a] planetary, he could flee and make tail.

This was based on modules, but this is the first time we can see it while it's still in front of the star, when it does not have a & # 39; planet in front of the star again.

The comments were made using the CARMENES instrument – spectrograph – a 3.5-meter telescope of Calar Alto Theater in Almeria, Spain. The spectrograph at the same time was both the wave of display and the small infrared range of high quality resolution. So, it revealed the planet's context of planet, and the scientists can decide on the distance of the Hellenic elements that leave a tangible range; planet and the length of the tail they make.

How cool is that? Apparently, even sports tail planets can be done, if there are right things.

The new paper also produces additional results as well as the planetary tail. Four other exoplanets were monitored in the same way – Jupiter teth HD 189733b and HD 209458b exoplanets, the great A large hot KELT-9b planet and the warm glosset Gliese 436b Neptune. Strangely, helium is also included in these three planets, which are not expected. HD 189733b contains helium, but the helium envelope is around its; a planet is harder and does not make a tail in the & nbsp; this case.

Every five planets were also explored using the Ray-X Multi-Mirror European Sphere Mission (XMM-Newton) Mission. Helium was found in the atmosphere of the planets that get the X-ray radar and a truly genuine vector from their host star. Enric Pallé, IAC researcher and paper co-author said:

This is the first major step to find out how the exoplanet environments are; Growth over time and what impact will affect large numbers and radii of the population surveyed from super-Earth and Minor-Neptune plans.

In 2011, a tail detector on the Neptune-size Gliese 436b exoplanet was also shown – reflected in the concept of this artist – made of hydrogen. Image through NASA / ESA / STScI / G. Bacon.

These additional ideas are useful for how spectacular radiation looks like to remove dry ambitions of large plans, and leaving the smaller rocky outcrows – these planets could then be similar to Earth or Venus. According to Michael Salz, a researcher at the University of Hamburg and his first author of help publishing with the same research team:

In the end, smoke-saving surveys, such as those we saw in WASP-69b, were based on the ideas of the energy of hydrogen in the long ultraviolet, the sphere of small accessibility and its # 39; great impact on & # 39; including drinking. Our results show that the helium is a new device that is committed to exhausting exile in exoplanets.

WASP69b is not the first exoplanet that is obtained by tail. In 2014, the scientists found that Gliese 436b – the size and size of Neptune and 30-year-olds away – had a tail similar to the cartridge, but made of hydrogen instead of helium. Although this kind of trust is not common, that finding is – and now the new one – can show that they can happen.

Below: there are famous comics for the most beautiful, long, growing tails. New research is proofing that even planets – like WASP-69b – sometimes he can have a tail too.
