Newmarket man, 23, was worried about driving with a drink in an accident that left a deadly five-year-old daughter


A 23-year-old man was convicted of a drunk driving in an accident that left a five-year-old daughter dead in August.

The York Department police said the four-car crash in Kingstown would take place on the morning of August 4, and nine people were involved.

Five members of the same family, including a 11-year-old boy, a five-year-old boy and a three-year-old boy, were brought to hospital with serious injuries.

The girl died injured five days later.

Kamau Davis-Locke, 23, of Newmarket, looks at twelve cases. including driving with problems causing death, two counts of poorly injured drivers causing physical harm, legal negligence resulting in death and two serious crime accounts that cause physical harm.

He plans to appear in the Newmarket court 24 January.
