PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic – Graeme McDowell of Puntacana Coas & Club Corales Sunday winners won the first PGA TOUR title from 2016, completing with 3-under 69 for a single stroke victory over Chris Stroud and Mackenzie Hughes.
McDowell took a lead from Stroud with a birdie on the 4th of 17th and closed with a bogey – going back pt a 30ft to a inch – on the parliament-4 18. Stroud got the last two holes. Hughes also closed for 66.
McDowell finished at 18-270, returning from opening 73 with 64s in a row to take a one-stroke direction over his final. He was awarded the fourth title of PGA TOUR by US champion McDowell.
Jonathan Byrd (66) was fourth in 16th place, and Chip McDaniel (63) and Kelly Kraft (68) continued at the age of 15.
Director Sungjae Im was 71 per cent in a second visit to make a seventh draw for 14 place.
