Otago University student Hannah Morgan has completed the Foveaux Sound swimmer.
Morgan Island of Stuart left about 6.20m on Tuesday and 11.52m had 21.6km away in five pounds and 33 minutes.
She finished swimming in eight 43 minutes and two seconds.

"My arms are just dead … I did not use my feet."

"I've just put everything on the case … it's probably the most challenging thing I've ever done but I'm so glad I've done it.
"It was hurting the whole road."
Within 16.2 kilometers into the cross, Morgan's nutritionist modified changes to her food schedule as a result of nausea from a stomach.
She started the campaign to swim to & # 39; cross to raise awareness for mental health.
Morgan was encouraged to raise awareness when a close friend died after suffering bad mental health.
The swimming pool raised money for the Mental Health Trust and the Otago Student Association.
