You can now use your Android phone as a security key

Google is modernizing your security to your Google account today. The company announces that your Android phone has the ability to use your Google account key.

That means you can now use your Android phone as an alternative to a corporate security key and get extra protection for your account.

This feature also works for those with Google Cloud Accounts.

Google says that the feature must have an Android phone running Android 7.0 or later, and a Chrome OS, macOS tool, or Windows 10 for Bluetooth use. But most importantly, you need to use the Google Chrome browser to work your feature.
