An unusual shark species has been seen about a mile from the shoreline of a Mediterranean city center in the middle of Israel.
In what was described as “an unusual sight,” a wet shark was seen near Netanya. A man who was traveling first saw the creature, “there was a very shark, an enormous” and he put it on a video. Then, the Hebrew website Walla recognizing the fish for the masses.
Adi Sharash, a doctoral student at the University of Haifa, told her Walla that the shark is not dangerous and can sometimes be seen in the area because of the warm waters close to the coast.
Sharash said that the shark who is in question may be ill or injured, as there is a rare and unusual surface surface.
The dark shark seen near Netanya was about 10ft long and the weight was estimated to be around 400 pounds.
