The Hospice of St. Joseph's Hospitality Team & opening his free love support event for the public.

"This is the first time we have put the event away to allow more people, and we have made it open to the public. You do not have to be one of our future practitioners," said Orley Culverhouse, Co-ordinator for a Childcare Program, which serves local children and teenagers aged 6 to 18, who have experienced the death of a loved one. "We hope we have a good answer and use this as a means of informing people of what we have to offer."

The event, which moves through the Holidays, will be held on December 11 at the 6:30 pm p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Families with children who are lost, will participate in a & # 39; jersey house decoration and celebration of community memorable preservation. Information and resources on how you get through the holiday season will also be provided.

"The holidays can be difficult for people, so the biggest thing we do is just to be ready and to think ahead," said Culverhouse. "What traditions are really important and what we want to keep? What traditions do we want to change or get rid of completely? Allow you to do that, and make that plan ahead with the family."

The Hospice program hosting between 400 and 500 clients per year is unpaid, as well as a & # 39; Providing service and community education.

Culverhouse said that the most important thing to do ugly families was to find a way to respect the person who died.

"When someone dies, their body will die, but our friendship is not with them," she said. "And so much of what we do in the Ospice just encourages people to keep that relationship with that person."

Individual death support for adults will be held in partnership with the Central Lambton Family Health Team at Lambton Meadowview Villa on 10 December from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Interested partners RSVP can be 519-882-2500.
