NASA will launch small printed 3D sensors for planetary rovers

Current sensor operative implements incorporating one sensor at one time and then connect them to other elements. They are very hard and ineffective, and are likely to depend on large spectators who find the problem of materials such as metals and water. The new 3D-based approach will print all sensors and part of a single-state touring circuit, and may find the previous ones.

It is expected that the campaign will take two years. If it works as planned, it may help rovers in the future to locate places that are in place; supporting life (or once they have been supported) They may also be used as safety systems that warn about changes to air conditions within in spacecraft and habitats. As little as this technology, it may be essential for long-term field research.
