A man in his 80s has died after hitting a car in Wellington.
Police and emergency services served on Broadway, in the outskirts of Strathmore, at about 8.10am on Friday.
A car collided with an old walker. The man died, in his 80s, after being wounded in the area, the police said.
No-one else was injured in the accident.
The Brooch Unit has examined the scene and sent the latter to the attention.
