The National Weather Service says it was likely that a meteor would fall over the Florida night star over the weekend.
Newspapers say that the people of southern Georgia and the Big Bend area of Florida Florida said they saw a short flash before the middle of Saturday night. The National Weather Service at Charleston confirmed a mapping tool "which found the light released from a fire attack" over an area about 35 miles (56.32 kilometers) east of Tallahassee just before midnight.
