15,254 complaints were received from bank customers (15,282 in 2017), at an average of 1,272 per month, according to the Portugal Bank in its conduct report.
Of these, 31.5% are investment accounts; 24.8% on consumer credit agreements and 13% on mortgage credit agreements. T
The Bank of Portugal is marking the reduction in the date for monitoring complaints (less than 11 days later in 2017, for 28 days).
The current status of complaints continues to be managed by Banco CTT. Shortly after that in the Deutsche Bank branch of Portugal, Bankinter Portugal, BBVA branch, Santander Totta, Banco BPI, ActivoBank, Novo Banco, Portuguese BIC and BiG.
Also in mortgage loan agreements the bank to which the complaints were made was mostly CTT CTT complaints. Followed by Santander Totta, BBVA – branch, BIC, Bankinter, Banco Montepio, Deutsche Bank Portugal and Novo Banco.
For customers' credit, Caixa Amendment and Factoring are on the top of the claims. Continuing the Spanish Wizink, Volkswagen Bank GMBH, CTT Women's, Capital SCA Portugal, Deutsche Bank Portugal, 321 Credits (now owned by CTT), Montepio Credit, BBVA – Financeira de Crédito, Bankinter, CEMG ( Banco Montepio), Banque RCI – branch, BEST, Primus, New Bank, ActivoBank, El Financiera Corte Inglés, BBVA branch, Cofidis, BIC and Credibom.
