Many biscuits of collected waste, active and concrete help for homeless or high people, a lot of fieldwork related to cleansing or discharging hundreds of kilos of doses; clothing provided in a charity.
This is just part of the work with more than three volunteers from Godzone Project, and took part last week at the time when we reminded young people's confidence in November & 89 .
During the tenth edition of a special trip in five Slavic towns without an award. As well as preparing and delivering night programs in halls and a winter stadium, and activities that aim for urban beauty and revitalization, the people also provide education concerts at 54 tall -schools and primary schools. During street sessions they gave 250 liters of tea tea and coffee.
"The aim of these activities is to show young people that we care about the country in which we live and that we want the people around us to help us. In total, they Work from Monday to Friday for several thousands of hours. Everything without a reward. Hope and confidence gave practical help in Poprad, Košice, Žilina, Banská Bystrica and Bratislava, "said Godzone Project Director David Slavkovsky .
Their help was divided into three charitable support elements at a special local community and special place, educational concerts in schools and a gospel in the squares.
"Many students now have experience of different types of suffering, so we are trying to show them how they will tackle this problem through our qualifications," said Lukáš Valach from the organizing team.
"We want to be in touch with people, stop them, listen to their life stories and give hope for their lives," said Slavkovsky. From the communities visited a young charity in Zilina, older people in Banská Bystrica, Útulok sv. Lujzy and Day Center for People without Home in Bratislava. They also participated in the & # 39; brigade in Borovice Grove in Košice.
Godzone's visit is a Christian Youth Communities Association cover and was one of the major events at the Special Youth Week for Youth. The event was scheduled this year, and 22,511 people attended. The tenth year was marked by the theme "Do we want more?"
In addition to the organizers and a team of 300 members, the Spaniards of the Slovak Bishops' Conference invited the evangelical event.
The Godzone project began in 2010 after the first time called Enter the Godzone, which was held in 2009. He continued a series of others. Part of this year's tour is also an invitation to make good activities through the assigned tasks. Young people can do when the trip ends, so they live in the tenth year during the year.
