YLKI: Luhut Ultimatum to Strange Airlines … t

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Indonesia Consumer Foundation (YLKI) discusses the huge impression created by the Marine Co-ordinator of Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan for the airline as a curious feature.

On Monday (3/25/2019), Luhut ultimatum gave airlines the option of reducing flight tickets on every route from the start of April 2019.

This was published when the minutes of meetings of the Ministry of Marine Affairs were circulated to the media.

"That is a strange and wrong target. Why is the airline going into difficulty?", Daily YLKI Tulus Abadi said in a written statement, Jakarta, Thursday (03/28/2019).

Tulus said the airline was not breaking the highest hybrid rule made by the Ministry of Transport (Kemenhub).

So, he said, if the government wants to reduce ticket prices on the air, the reality is that it has to be changing rules by lowering air limit limits.

“If the government really wants to protect the public so it is flowing down, it does not change the existing rules. Particularly in relation to the highest tightening responsibilities, ”he added.

"The government does not do that? If it is not strong and not done, the only news will be that due to the single disadvantage," he added.

Previously, President Garuda Indonesia In Gusti Ngurah Askhara talked about his meeting with the Co-ordinated Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan on Tuesday (3/26/2019).

He confirmed that there was a demand for reduced price of tickets by the government, but this was rejected as a form of enforcement.

"Last night a debate with the Co-ordinator for Maritime Affairs and the Minister for Transport had only a debate about the industry, indeed an appeal was to reduce the price of tickets," he said in a text message, t Jakarta, Wednesday (03/27/2019).
